I haven't tried getting people to move stuff from hub to random system much though. and usually random system to hub will get picked up for not much. hub to hub packages get picked up for almost nothing. FW should provide some basic income, and you can get people to courier contract stuff around. Imo tiles are too big to be of use for individual systems, they are good for getting a glance of the eve universe as a whole, but a bit impractical for route planning.Īs far as surviving while at war, imo not too hard. afaik it is the same route either way from jita amarr. Forgot to set my autopilot to safe/shortest. luckily I was in a travel fit frig and made it out no problem. Make it a few jumps and guess where I end up, if you said the lowsec system with a camp that I just died to you would be right. From there it is a quick route back to jita. Got someone to give me a warp to a wormhole out of thera and into amarr lowsec, so I headed back to amarr to grab a ship. Oops my med station is in thera, I want to get this clone back to Jita. Since it was an empty clone and clones don't cost anything I figured I'd just let them pod me. Now on the gate out of lowsec I went through a camp, turns out my route back into lowsec went right through that camp, a destroyer doesn't really run a camp very well. well I did end up making it to amarr, and then turning around to go back into lowsec. I was flying late night on a destroyer roam and know that going from jita to amarr with preferences set on lowsec can be a decent route. (I think if you set a route directly to a system it can't avoid that system)Īlso recent story where autopilot settings a) got me killed, b) nearly got me killed again: The jita nightmares from the olden days are rarely a problem, although they did build stargates that go around jita, so maybe leaving that on avoid isn't the worst of ideas. Personally I don't have any systems on avoidance. getting a really funky route unexpectedly, or finding out your route is 22 jumps, where your friends route is 8 jumps Or even just pass through them at some point. That's not a good idea cause sometime in the future you might wanna go to those systems. I'm not talking about placing them on the 'Avoidance' list.
